Dogs can’t sweat with sweat glands, as we humans can. Dogs have an insulating coat. Where humans can take off a jacket, a dog's coat remains warm and body temperature can rise easily. This DRY© Cooling Vest is comfortable, has an adjustable fit, is light and easy to (re)fill and remains dry. The DRY® Cooling Vest keeps your dog cool when needed, without the use of chemicals, gels or refrigeration. Help your dog to avoid heat-stress in a safe way! Keep your dog COOL by using this comfortable and easy to refill DRY® Cooling Vest. After activating the vest by filling it with fresh water, it will immediately start cooling up to 15˚C / 59˚F below ambient air temperature for one to three days. Thanks to the patented system, the vest will never become wet or damp during use. The cooling effect is the result of evaporation and is largely dependent on humidity and airflow. So, prevent your dog from developing heat stress! During and after a walk (in the sun) or whenever cooling is required.

HOW TO PUT ON?

HOW TO ACTIVATE & TO PUT THE VEST ON?

We know how important it is to be able to quickly dress and undress your dog, which is why our DRY® Cooling Vest is very easy to use and has adjustable straps with buckles to secure. This vest covers most parts of the back and belly for an optimal cooling effect on your dog’s body. Activating and getting the vest on and off your dog is very simple. Let’s take a look!

How to activate the cooling technology:

Open the valve cap and fill the vest with the right amount of water. Close the valve cap and gently divide the water by sliding and pushing your hands over the vest. Make sure the water is evenly distributed on all sides. Then you fold the vest up, open the valve cap and gently squeeze out all excess water. Close the valve cap again and the cooling process will start within minutes.

No gels, refrigeration or other chemicals are needed. The vest will stay cool for up to 3 days. After using the vest, simply hang-dry for storage. Watch the detailed video tutorial below.

How to put it on:

First place your dog’s head through the opening. Take the black straps on the belly side and put these through the provided openings to keep the vest in place. Then secure the vest by fastening the buckles. You could adjust the straps by gently pulling them. It is important to keep monitoring your dog if the straps aren’t too tight around the body and neck, this can otherwise lead to breathing and blood circulation problems.

HOW TO USE THE VEST CORRECTLY?

The DRY® Cooling Vest is specially designed on the anatomy of dogs and can therefore only be used for dogs.

Important information

Consult your veterinarian when you want to use the DRY® Cooling Vest for medical purposes. Your veterinarian can recommend a suitable treatment. Keep monitoring your dog regularly to make sure the fit is not too tight. Keep your dog under supervision of a responsible adult at all times while using the DRY® Cooling Vest. Please consult your veterinarian if your dog’s behavior is changing.

Washing instructions

For longer usage, it is possible that the print of the DRY® Cooling Vest and the label could fade over time. With the washing instructions below, this process can be delayed. Washing, maintaining and handling of delivered items always remains the responsibility of the customer.

Instructions:

Fasten the buckles before washing.
We recommend using a laundry bag.
Wash the DRY® Cooling Vest up to a maximum of 40ºC/104ºF.
Never put the DRY® Cooling Vest in the dryer! Hang it out and let it air dry.
Do not iron.
Do not use bleach or other chemicals to clean the DRY® Cooling Vest.

Using bleach and other chemicals can cause irritations to your dog’s wound, surgical area, hotspots or more…!

Thanks to the patented system, this vest will not feel wet and will not start to smell. The cooling effect is the result of evaporation in the vest and is largely dependent on humidity and airflow outside the vest. By filling the vest with water, the cooling will start directly for 1-3 days. Perfect to keep your dog cool during a (long) walk or hike.

The DRY® Cooling Vest contains a safe cooling system for dogs, without the use of chemicals or gels. Just simply fill the vest with water and the cooling will start immediately. Thanks to the patented DRY® system, the vest will not become wet or moist during use. In this way, the dog and vest will stay cool and dry.

Valve cap for filling with water

The DRY® cooling technology only requires a small amount of water. The water inside the vest evaporates throughout the membrane, causing the technology to cool. Depending on the humidity and temperature, the water stays inside the vest for 1 to 3 days and cools down up to 15˚C / 59˚F below ambient air temperature. Simply fill the vest with water and the cooling starts immediately. No gels or chemicals required, and it is not recommended to refrigerate. Fillable up to 800 times!

Optimal cooling the back & belly

Cooling is most effective on the chest and belly part, where hair/fur is often shortest. The DRY® Cooling Vest allows safe cooling on the back, neck, chest and belly part. The amount of cooling is adaptive based on the ambient air temperature, making undercooling very unlikely (always supervise your dog).

Easy (un)snap & adjustable

The elastic bands are adjustable to fit almost every breed in width. Buckles are added to quickly open and close the vest. Extra guidance loops are attached to the side to keep the vest in place.

Comfortable adjustable fit
