Key features of the Double Sleeve for dogs

Elbow pads for extra soft protection

The MPS Protective Front Leg Double Sleeve includes padded elbow sections, ideal for dogs recovering from elbow surgery or prone to pressure sores and joint discomfort. This added layer of softness provides targeted protection and comfort where it’s needed most: right at the elbows.

Adjustable with press studs

While it’s nearly impossible for dogs to remove the MPS Protective Front Leg Double Sleeve on their own, it’s quick and easy for pet owners and veterinarians to use. A combination of durable press studs and a secure inner Velcro® layer keeps the sleeve comfortably and evenly in place across both legs.

For the best fit, always fasten at least two rows of press studs. Look for the signature colored press stud — a mark of original MPS quality.

â–º How to put the sleeve on?

Soft bands and long sleeve

The double sleeve is finished with extra-soft, thick elastic trim around the chest and both legs. This protective edging helps prevent chafing, friction, and pressure point, even during extended wear. Is the sleeve a bit long? Simply fold up the leg sections for a comfortable, tailored fit.

Find the right fit for your dog!

The MPS Protective Front Leg Double Sleeve is designed to fit comfortably and securely — not too tight, and not too loose.

To determine the correct size measure the chest circumference around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Then measure the leg length from the inside of the armpit down to the wrist (ankle) joint of the front legs.

If your dog falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller one. Take into account your dog’s fur, body shape, and weight for the best possible fit.

My giant Schnauzer had problems with his elbows due to cortisone use and licked them a lot. With this MPS sleeve licking is no longer possible. The material is pleasant and the extra reinforcement at the elbow offers good protection. Size L fits perfectly and my dog accepts it without any problems. A great solution that I definitely recommend.

Tordo

Everything is great, the material is stretchy and fits well with clips and velcro. I ordered the large size because I wasn't sure but there was plenty of room. The medium size was perfect for a big English Springer Spaniel. No medical collar needed, perfect.

Jackie Jack

Don’t be fooled by my dogs face, she wasn’t convinced but these were great for hiding her stitches when she got hurt recently. No horrible cone of shame. She tolerated them really well.

Catriona Irvine

Purchased for elbow surgery to use in replacement of bandages and Elizabethan collar. Well tolerated by dog who (incredibly) does not nibble sleeves and does not seem to have any kind of disturbance or discomfort. I have a 32 kg female Samoyed. Purchased size L.
