How do you measure the dog? And how much water do you need?

Measure the neck circumference, the widest part of the chest, and the back length — from the neck to the base of the tail.
Does your dog fall between two sizes? Always choose the larger size. Also consider coat thickness and body shape: the vest should fit well but not be too tight.

XS 25 - 35 cm / 10 - 14 inch 40 - 60 cm / 16 - 24 inch < 35 cm / < 14 inch 100 ml / 3.40 oz.

The DRY® Cooling Vest only works effectively when it fits snugly against the skin around your dog’s back and belly. Without direct contact, cooling is not effective.

MPS, trusted and loved by pets and veterinarians!

This cooling vest is perfect for:

✓ Protects against overheating

On warm days, the MPS® DRY® Cooling Vest helps dogs stay cool and comfortable during short outdoor moments — whether it’s for a quick walk, bathroom break, or light activity. While we always recommend staying indoors during heatwaves, the vest offers relief when being outside is unavoidable.

Caution: On extremely hot days, asphalt and pavement can burn a dog’s paws. Stick to shaded areas or grass, and always check the ground temperature before heading out.

✓ Road trips by car or train

Whether pet owners are traveling by car or train, warm weather and confined spaces can quickly lead to discomfort and overheating in dogs. Airflow isn’t always ideal, and direct sunlight can make it even hotter.

Dogs regulate their body temperature primarily by panting and sweating through their paw pads, which is less efficient than human sweating. With the DRY® Cooling Vest, dogs stay cool and comfy on every adventure—no overheating, no wet fur, just stress-free travel.

Always advise supervision while traveling, even when wearing a DRY® Cooling Vest and never leave a dog alone in a parked car!

✓ Hiking & outdoor activities

For dogs that lead an active lifestyle, whether it's hiking, running or simply playing outdoors, the DRY® Cooling Vest is a smart companion. Even on milder days, physical activity and sun exposure can quickly raise a dog’s body temperature, especially in thick-coated breeds.

With the cooling vest, dog owners can enjoy their adventures with their dogs, while helping to prevent overheating and keep their dogs feeling comfortable and safe.

✓ Working & service dogs

For service dogs, working dogs, and search-and-rescue teams, staying cool isn’t just about comfort — it’s about performance and safety. The DRY® Cooling Vest helps dedicated working dogs stay focused, alert, and comfortable during demanding tasks, even in warm or extreme conditions. From navigating debris to tracking scents or supporting their handlers, these dogs rely on cooling support to keep doing what they do best, limiting overheating or fatigue.

Key features of the DRY® Cooling Vest

Easy-to-fill and secure fit

The vest features a patented evaporation system that cools dogs without leaving the vest feeling wet. A securely placed valve cap on the back makes filling simple and safe, and unlike traditional wet vests, it won’t develop unpleasant odors over time.

Adjustable elastic straps around the neck and easy buckle closures ensure a snug, comfortable fit for nearly every breed. Additional side loops guide the vest along the body, keeping it securely in place as your dog moves, plays, or works.

► How to activate the vest?

The DRY® technology

As the (tap)water naturally evaporates inside the cool vest due to warmer temperatures, the vest activates and cools. See the video tutorial on how to activate the vest for dogs.

How it works:
Once the vest is filled with water (1), the cooling process begins. The warm outside air draws water from the vest, causing it to evaporate (2). This natural evaporation cools the surface of the vest (3).Thanks to the special membrane, this cooling effect is directly transferred to the dog’s body (4), keeping them comfortable and refreshed (5).

No gels or chemicals needed!

Find the right size for every dog!

A proper fit is key for safe and effective cooling. The vest should fit snugly, but not tight, allowing dogs to breathe freely and stay comfortable.

Measure the back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Then measure the chest circumference at the widest point behind the front legs. The lastly, measure the neck circumference.

Is a dog between two sizes? Choose the larger size for a better fit. Don’t forget to consider coat thickness and body shape when selecting the right size.

Last summer, I had a vest that needed to be soaked in water, but that was inconvenient since you always needed water on hand. That’s why I wanted to try this Dry Vest, despite the price. The XS fits well, but it was a bit tight around the neck, so I cut the fabric there to make it easier to put on and take off. The material feels a bit stiff, but as soon as you add 100 ml of water, the inside instantly cools down – I didn’t expect that!

Bought this for my Border Collie girl that panted just about non-stop. It actually helps cool her down and the vest stays pretty chilled. I say it’s worth the cost. The overall quality is pretty nice as well. Also got my pupper booties for when running on hot asphalt :P Hoping the cooling factor keeps up!

Can a dog wear the DRY® Cooling Vest all day?

Yes, dogs can wear the vest throughout the day. Our patented, advanced cooling technology prevents overcooling, ensuring safe, even cooling at all times. However, we always recommend supervision by a responsible adult while the dog is wearing the vest.
