This water-repellent boot is specially designed to protect paws with splints, casts, or bandages during short-term outdoor use. Keeps wound dressings dry and secure, with added grip and comfort thanks to its flexible design.
Bandages, plaster or splints quickly get wet or dirty outside, so they have to be replaced more often. The water-repellent MPS Protective Pet Boot prevents that, and keeps everything clean and dry while walking – without the hassle of socks or plastic bags.
In case of wounds on the paw or damaged nails, the boot offers protection against road dirt, snow and cold. The sturdy sole provides extra grip, while the flexible material remains comfortable for the dog.
Ointments or pads lose their effect as soon as they get wet. The Pet Boot helps to keep it dry during short walks, so that the treatment remains effective and the leg is protected from further irritation.
The boot is designed to provide protection during short walks outside, when the dog needs to relieve himself. Not suitable for long-term indoor or permanent wear, as a wound needs to be given access to enough oxygen to heal and prevent infections. The boot is easy to wash by hand and can be used multiple times. In this way, the product remains hygienic and sustainable in practice.
The sole is reinforced with a rubber anti-slip sole of 100% Nylon and a PU coating for extra grip on the street. At the same time, the boot remains flexible enough to walk comfortably. This durable, rubber non-slip sole extends higher at the front and back. This provides more protection when the dog drags its paw.
The outside surface is made of sturdy and water-repellent material that prevents dirt, moisture or bacteria from reaching the bandage. Ideal for rainy days or muddy surfaces.
Thanks to the Velcro® closure, the boot is easy to adjust to different leg sizes, and it stays firmly in place without sagging. Always ensure a good fit to avoid chafing. At the top of the boot, the entry is equipped with a drawstring. This will make moisture and dirt less likely to get into the boot.
The MPS Protective Pet Boot Dog is specially designed on the anatomy of dogs and can therefore only be used for dogs. To find the right size, measure the full circumference of the leg. Then measure the leg length from the armpit down to the start of the paw. It is easy to put on and has a perfect fit due to the adjustable velcro and strap.
Important: do not over tighten the straps as this could lead to circulation restriction. The boot is available in 7 sizes. For extra flexibility, the size Medium and Large is available in both a long and short version. Each size can be recognized by the specific color tag. No, the protective boot cannot be used without bandages, splint or plaster. Due to the smooth water-repellent fabric, the boot could then slide off too quickly.
No, the MPS Protective Pet Boot is suitable for outdoor walks, not for indoor use. The material is made to be water repellent, thus not breathable enough to protect wounds for a longer period of time.
Thanks to the water-repellent material, water and dirt cannot get to the inside of the boot. However, dogs can sweat through their paw pads in heat and/or stress. This could make the inside of the boot feel slightly damp.
Yes, the protective boot can be washed by hand, possibly with mild soap.
