The soft, elastic and protective stretch band around the front and hind legs and around the tai land neck ensures that the shirt does not rub and cut into the legs and tail. Contrary to the “cone of shame”, the shirt is an ideal solution for direct wound protection providing comfort after surgery whilst allowing freedom of movement.

The interior of the MPS-Protective Pet Shirt is partially light blue so fluid or blood loss can be checked by the veterinarian or owner. In the event of fluid loss, a sanitary towel can be applied on the inside of the shirt or between the double layer. If necessary, an ice pack can also be inserted between the double layer.

The blind buttonhole between the shoulders can be cut open to insert an IV-line. In this way, the pet will not be able to reach the infusion system. The extra stitching around this specific buttonhole helps to prevent further tearing after it has been cut open.
